Microblading Brows

Microblading is a technique used to create the most realistic looking brows using fine 'hair strokes' to mimic the look of real brows.  Instead of traditional cosmetic tattoo treatments which use a machine, microblading uses a handheld tool to perfectly create fine hair strokes one by one.  Pigment is then implanted into the channels created by the tool and the result is realistic looking, permanent brows.

The treatment starts with an in depth consultation.  The brows are first drawn on to compliment the individuals face shape and enhance the facial features.  Once you're happy with the shape (the brows can be re-drawn as many times as needed), numbing cream is applied to make the process as comfortable as possible.  The treatment will cause very minimal discomfort with many clients saying it just feels like tiny surface scratches on the skin.

A colour/pigment is then matched to best suit and compliment your skin tone and hair colour.  This is essential to ensure the natural skin undertones are taken into consideration for a natural final and healed result.  A hand held glider is then used to create the finest of hair strokes of different lengths and directions.

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a safe, controlled beauty treatment that intensely exfoliates and resurfaces the skin.  It is the leading skincare treatment in the UK for complete skin rejuvenation.

How does Microdermabrasion work?

A wand tipped with hundreds of tiny diamonds gently removes layers of dead skin cells from the face and body.  Elastin and collagen fibres are also stimulated by a controlled suction which encourages cellular renewal, resulting in visibly clearer, brighter, flawless, firmer skin.

Microdermabrasion treats various skin irregularity's including:

• Fine lines and wrinkles (including the delicate eye area)

• Pigmentation

• Acne scarring and thickened skin

• Congested skin (including milia)

• Sun damaged or uneven skin-tone

• Enlarged pores and dull skin

Gel Nails

Gel polish consists of a thin layer of gel polish colour applied over your nail creating a glossy polished nail which lasts 2 - 3 weeks.

Gel nail extensions are a popular and clever way of strengthening and shaping your nails while retaining a natural look. Gel nails are the most natural looking nails around whilst similar to acrylic nails, once applied you will place your hands under a UV light which allows it to harden or dry.  You can paint these nails and they are easily filed to the shape you want.  They are more glossy than acrylic nails and are slightly thinner and last for several weeks.

Eyelash Tint

Eyelash tinting is a fantastic mascara replacement, this is particularly popular with fair haired people who would like darkened eyelashes.  Eyelash tint is also a great thing to have done before you go on holiday as it is difficult to wear mascara when you are constantly going into the sea or pool.  With an eyelash tint your eyelashes are dyed from the root to tip with black, brown or blue black tint to define and accentuate the eye area.  Eyebrows can also be tinted.

A patch test is required at least 24 hours prior to treatment to check for any irritation / allergy.

 

Eyelash Extensions / Nouveau 1:1 extend eyelash extensions

All the rage  eyelash extensions are sweeping across the beauty world.  Don't be left behind, get the lashes you always dreamed of by asking for Nouveau lashes which are individual eyelash extensions that are attached to your own lashes.  One single strand is adhered to one single natural eyelash using a very strong bonding agent, therefore becoming an extension of the eyelash.  Different lengths can be applied depending on the look you want.  A natural set will consist of 60 individual eyelashes being added, a glamorous look will consist of 120 individual eyelashes being added.  With the correct aftercare the lashes can remain on the natural eyelashes until it sheds, eyelash extensions can last for between 8 - 12 weeks.  An initial set can take up to 2 + hours with a two weekly infill.  As natural lashes are shed the look needs to be maintained so fortnightly infill's are essential.

Eyebrows are the frame for the eye area, a beautifully groomed eyebrow can change the whole look of the face.  It's incredible what a difference a well-shaped eyebrow can have on lifting and framing the face.

A facial is a pampering procedure which involves having a treatment applied to your face.  These are 100s of different types types of facials on the market, but popular ones include cleansing, deep cleanse, facial massage, face mask, tone and moisturise.  Facial massages open up the pores, increase blood flow and help with anti ageing, sometimes it will involve steaming or heat to open up the pores.

Pedicures are the ideal way to improve the appearance of your feet and nails and includes an aromatic salt rub.  There are also nail art for your toes and plenty of bright colours.

An Indian head massage is one of the most relaxing massages available.  The benefits of an Indian head massage includes relieving tension of the head, neck and shoulders, promote general well-being, boost immune system and improve circulation.  It is one of the most energetic head massages and has proven stress busting abilities working on the muscular tissue in the head and neck.  It can also be a headache cure.
